Honoring Mary Win Norris

Former Princeton resident and Princeton High School student Joel Klaff (right), now of Chicago, returned home Friday night to help honor his long-time teacher Mary Win Norris. Norris was the guest of honor at the Prairie Arts Council 2010 gala, where she received the inaugural Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award. Not only did Norris teach art at Princeton High School, but also her paintings and other artwork are treasured throughout the area. The event also included a live and silent auction at the Wine Cellar in Princeton.
