PERU — Cindy Kohr of Peru has been appointed director of patient financial services at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.

An employee of IVCH since 1988, when she joined the PFS staff as a patient accounts clerk, Kohr was promoted to a supervisor’s position in 1997. She achieved the designation of certified patient account technician from the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management in 2009.

As PFS director, Kohr oversees the day-to-day operations of patient accounts management, billing and the cashier’s officer at IVCH.
