PRINCETON — James K. Say, vice president and relationship manager for Citizens Financial Advisors in Princeton, is newly certified as an Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.

Bringing 25 years of wealth management experience to the bank’s fiduciary services department, Say joined Citizens Financial Advisors in the spring of 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, as well as a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Additionally, he earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder in 2006.

Say has served as a former co-editor of the Trusts and Estates Section Council newsletter for the Illinois State Bar Association. He maintains an active role as a community leader, volunteering his time in local, state and national organizations.

The Accredited Estate Planner designation is a graduate level specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning. It is awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils to recognize estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, and professional reputation and character.

The Princeton High School Tigers beat the Rock Falls Rockets Wednesday 66-55 during sectional play at Byron. The Tigers will now play the undefeated Winnebago Indians at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the sectional championship.
