PRINCETON — Nedda and Don Simon recently donated a piano to the Grace Performing Arts Center and the Illinois Theatre Conservatory.

The piano, a brand new Kawai K-3 is a professional line upright piano, is currently on display in the lobby of the Grace Performing Arts Center. The Kawai Co., based out of Japan, is, along with Yamaha and Steinway, one of only a handful of world-class piano builders left in the world. The gift is a first for the Grace Performing Arts Center, who has never had a new instrument of this quality. The gift was made in grateful memory of Nedda’s parents, Ben and Lucille Jefferson, who introduced her to the arts and music from an early age and encouraged her to continue her education in theatre and public speaking.
