PRINCETON — Children from the Princeton Community After School Program will participate in the Youth Service Bureau’s “Art from the Heart” event. The Ladd After School Program is also participating in the auction as well.

The children are busy preparing canvas art, wooden frames, painted glassware, decorative boxes and more. They have learned many techniques including decoupaging, mosaic, glass paint, crackle finishes, decorative foil finishes and of course paint.

This is the second annual auction for the Youth Service Bureau, with last year’s event titled “Paint a Brighter Future”. The event will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Course in LaSalle. There will be a silent and live auction. Tickets are available for $35 per person.
