SPRING VALLEY — Hall High School senior Nick Rounds will sign a letter of intent to play golf for IVCC next fall on Thursday morning. He is a two-time BCR Golfer of the Year. Later this month, Princeton senior Jacquie Kane will sign to continue playing volleyball for Lincoln Junior College.

Youth soccer registration

PRINCETON — Registration dates for the Princeton Youth Soccer spring season will be held  at the Prouty Building in downtown Princeton Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration will continue from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Registration info can be found by going to www.pyslsoccer.freehomepage.com and clicking on the spring 2010 registration tab.  This spring’s youth-soccer season will run from April 5 through May 15. 

Church Volleyball League

PRINCETON — The Princeton Park District’s Church Volleyball League will begin Feb. 13, with games played at 4 p.m. each Saturday at the Metro Center. Roster forms should be returned to the Met as soon as possible in order for  a church’s  team to be placed on the schedule. Schedule of games will be available Wednesday. Coaches’ clinic

MANLIUS — The annual Bureau County Track and Cross Country Coaches Clinic will be held Feb. 6 at Bureau Valley High School beginning at 9 a.m. BV coach Dale Donner notes this year’s clinic is being geared this year for junior high coaches. The Princeton High School Tigers beat the Rock Falls Rockets Wednesday 66-55 during sectional play at Byron. The Tigers will now play the undefeated Winnebago Indians at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the sectional championship.
