Juanita Wilson

WOLF LAKE — Juanita I. Wilson, 90, of Wolf Lake died at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Gape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 22, 1919, to Robert and Anna Myrtle (Kimmel) Vincent, she married Robert M. Wilson Oct. 31, 1938, in Jackson, Mo. He died Sept. 20, 1996.

She and her husband owned and operated Wilson’s Cash Store in Wolf Lake for many years.

She was a former member of Wolf Lake Methodist Church.

Surviving is one son, Robert M. (Joan) Wilson Jr. of Walnut; two daughters, Sheila (Alan) Otten of Wolf Lake and Lori (Dale) Foster of Anna; eight grandchildren, Tina Otten, Paula (Glenn) Dorsey, Angie (Roger) Levan, Casey Otten, Chad Otten, Sean Foster, Kyli Foster and Heather Wright; and four great-grandchildren, Luke Dorsey, Lauren Dorsey, Shelby Levan and Aleshia Wright.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Herbert Wilson.

Services were held Feb. 19 in the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home, Jonesboro, with the Rev. John Prather officiating. Burial was in the Jonesboro Cemetery.

Visitation was held Feb. 18 at the funeral home.
