Troy and Tambreah (Kruse) Carter of Peru are the parents of a son, Troy Anthony, born Feb. 22 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. He weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length. He was welcomed home by one sister, Emma, 5. Maternal grandparents are John and Mary Kruse of LaMoille. Paternal grandparent is Emma Carter of Columbus, Ohio. Great-grandparent is Frank Weirauch of Liberty Center, Ohio.

Friel

Cory and Pamela (Petersen) Friel of Tiskilwa are the parents of a daughter, Kaylyn Jean, born Feb. 17 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and measured 20 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Dennis and Lynda Petersen of Santee, Calif. Paternal grandparents are Robert and Susan Friel of Tiskilwa.

Doty

Brad and Jenna (Heiser) Doty of Walnut are the parents of a daughter, Brynley Ann, born Jan. 6 at Kewanee Hospital in Kewanee. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 20 1/2 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Jim and Camie Heiser of Kewanee. Paternal grandparents are Bill and Carolyn Doty of Manlius. Great-grandmother is Lillian Vols of Manlius. Brynley was the first baby of the new year at Kewanee Hospital.

Paternal grandparents are Janet Hassler of Tiskilwa and Denny Hassler of Bureau.

Daniel and Brandy (Wehrman) Tunk of Mendota are the parents of a daughter, Samantha Leann, born Feb. 16 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 19 inches in length. She was welcomed home by one sister, Robyn, 7. Maternal grandparents are Rick and Tina Wehrman of Waterman, Ill. Paternal grandparents are Bill and Peggy Simpson of Oregon, Ill. Great-grandparents are Donna Wehrman of Sycamore and Mary Jo Ziegler of Waterman.

Roberto Perez and Jenoveva Santoyo of DePue are the parents of a son, Diego, born Feb. 20 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. He weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Jose and Carmen Santoyo of Streator. Paternal grandparents are Roberto and Dolores Perez of DePue.
