PAC Junior Art League exhibit opens Saturday

PRINCETON — The Prairie Arts Center in Princeton will showcase works of art by the members of the PAC Junior Art League in an exhibit beginning Saturday and ending March 14.

The public is invited to an afternoon reception at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The center will also be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and again March 13 and 14 for viewing.

This exhibit will show works of art by young members of the art league, ages 9-13, and will include pottery, origami, mixed media, photography and watercolor.

Most of these young people have been attending art league meetings twice a month for more than a year preparing for this exhibit. They will have hand-beaded bracelets and Christmas ornaments available to take home in exchange for a donation to help defray costs of this exhibit.
