Princeton fifth-grader Colby Robbins makes a drive to the basket during Princeton Shootout action at Princeton High School.

The shootout brought 36 boys’ basketball teams from grades 5-8 on Feb. 27-28. The Princeton sixth-graders placed third.

Shootout winners were fifth grade — Streator; sixth grade — Peru; seventh grade — Rock Falls; and eighth grade — Princeton.
