PRINCETON — Bob James and the Princeton High School softball team will hold a softball clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 20 for girls in grades 4-8. Cost is $35. For more information, call James at (815) 872-0579.

Coaches clinic

GRANVILLE — There will be a coaches clinic for area youth baseball coaches and parents from 2-4:30 p.m. Saturday at Putnam County High School.

Guest speakers include Princeton native Matt McDonald, a former pitcher in the Oakland As and L.A. Dodgers organizations; Steve Brook, former minor league pitcher and manager of the River City Rascal; North Park University head coach Luke Johnson and PC head coach Dave Garcia.

Cost is $10 which will be collected at the door.

PRINCETON — Registration for the Princeton Youth Baseball and Softball League will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and March 20 at the Prouty Building

Volleyball

PRINCETON — There will be no church league volleyball Saturday at the Bureau County Metro Center. Games have been rescheduled by the Princeton Park District. Coaches should contact the Met for more info.

PHS baseball meeting

PRINCETON — Princeton High School baseball coach John Cruz has scheduled a meeting for all players and parents for 6 p.m. Saturday in the school  cafeteria.
